NPRC ELECTIONS PEACE STRATEGY-
The world commemorates the International Day of Peace (IDP) on the 21st of September 2022. This is an annual commemoration on the United Nations calendar, dedicated towards promoting non-violence and for everyone around the globe to commit to peace, unity and harmony within and among states. The United Nations’ theme for this year is, ‘End Racism; Build Peace.’
The Chairperson of the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission Retired Justice Selo Masole Nare, Commissioners, Executive Secretary and Secretariat would like to congratulate His Excellency, the
President of the Republic of Zimbabwe Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and the entire nation on
the country’s 42nd Independence Anniversary.
The National Peace and Reconciliation Commission (NPRC) is obliged under Section 323 of
the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No 20), to submit a report to the Parliament of
Zimbabwe through the Minister responsible. In response to this statutory requirement, it gives
me pleasure to present the 2021 Annual Report, covering the period 01 January to 31 December
2021
